Food Styling & Photography Workshop Newbie
One of the goals for 2012 is to improve my photography skills, but in order to do so, I knew it would probably be faster to take a photography class. I had only recently verbalized this when I started to notice classes all over the place, particularly ones taught by “celebrity” food bloggers such as White on Rice. Of course, none of them are being held in Boston in the near-term, and the few that I’d seen in Montreal and NYC were already sold out. So I was totally psyched when La Tartine Gourmande announced that she would be teaching a Food Styling and Photography Workshop in NYC on June 9th. I’m even more psyched now that I’ve secured one of the 12 spots. I’m not expecting miracles out of a one-day course, but if it takes me one step towards Bea’s absolutely gorgeous photos, I’ll be thrilled. And I’m psyched to be heading back to NYC so soon.
